SkyOink ("we", "our", or "the App") is a weather application that provides real-time weather data, forecasts, and altimeter functionality. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2.1 Location Data

The App requests access to your device's location to:

• Display weather information for your current location
• Provide altimeter (altitude) readings via GPS
• Update the home screen widget with local weather

Location data is used only in real-time to fetch weather information from third-party weather APIs. We do not store, log, or transmit your location to our own servers.

2.2 Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following data locally on your device using SharedPreferences:

• Your saved city list
• Temperature unit preference (Celsius / Fahrenheit)
• Language preference
• Cached weather data for offline viewing

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
• Phone numbers or contact information
• Photos, files, or other media
• Browsing history
• Location history (only real-time location is used, never stored)

5. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. You may see personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device settings and region. You can manage ad personalization through your device's settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Since we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no centralized database at risk. All user preferences and cached data are stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security measures.
